Shoals Commnity Clinic

There will be five Dental Clinic in the 4th quarter of 2026. The clinics will take place on Fridays, October 16th & 23rd, November 6th & 13th, and December 11th. To be seen, patients should be at the clinic by 7am for paperwork and X-rays, except for the clinic on October 16th which starts at Noon.

Preventative health screenings promote wellness and save lives. As such, Shoals Community Clinic, in partnership with UNA Anderson College of Nursing and Health Professions, will be hosting its annual Community Health Fair on Monday, October 12th, from 9am-2pm.

Screening and early detection of breast and cervical cancer is the most effective way to successfully overcome and survive a dire diagnosis. With that in mind, the Shoals Community Clinic, in partnership with the UNA Anderson College of Nursing and Health Professions, Florence Pathology Service, Tri-State Center for Breast Health, and Lauderdale County Radiology, will host the annual Catherine Barnes Women's Health Fair on October 19th & 21st at the clinic at 309 A WC Handy P

There will be a Dental Clinic on Friday, September 11th and another on Friday, September 25th. To be seen on the 11th, patients should be at the clinic by 7am for paperwork and X-rays. For the dental clinic on the 25th, patients arrive by Noon.

There will be a Dental Clinic on Friday, August 21st with Dr. Mary Leigh Gillispie. To be seen, patients should be at the clinic by 7am for paperwork and X-rays. Only tooth extractions are performed. Cost due at the time of the procedure at the clinic will be $60 for first extraction and $20 for each additional extraction. This fee covers the extraction, x-ray, consultation and medications. On Thursday, July 23rd, Shoals Community Clinic held a special Director’s Reception to honor our Dedicated Volunteer Leaders, Dr. Timothy Ashley and Dr. Gil Griggs, and to welcome Dr. Jacqueline Sneed and Dr. Mike McLeary to their new leadership roles.

Shoals Community Clinic invites women to schedule appointments during our Women’s Health Fairs, which are now planned quarterly.
