Shoals Commnity Clinic

There will be five Dental Clinic in the 4th quarter of 2026. The clinics will take place on Fridays, October 16th & 23rd, November 6th & 13th, and December 11th. To be seen, patients should be at the clinic by 7am for paperwork and X-rays, except for the clinic on October 16th which starts at Noon.

There will be a Dental Clinic on Friday, September 11th and another on Friday, September 25th. To be seen on the 11th, patients should be at the clinic by 7am for paperwork and X-rays. For the dental clinic on the 25th, patients arrive by Noon.

There will be a Dental Clinic on Friday, August 21st with Dr. Mary Leigh Gillispie. To be seen, patients should be at the clinic by 7am for paperwork and X-rays. Only tooth extractions are performed. Cost due at the time of the procedure at the clinic will be $60 for first extraction and $20 for each additional extraction. This fee covers the extraction, x-ray, consultation and medications. On Thursday, July 23rd, Shoals Community Clinic held a special Director’s Reception to honor our Dedicated Volunteer Leaders, Dr. Timothy Ashley and Dr. Gil Griggs, and to welcome Dr. Jacqueline Sneed and Dr. Mike McLeary to their new leadership roles.

IMPORTANT! PLEASE, NOTE: The dentist had a conflict come up for Friday (Feb. 20th), so we are rescheduling to Friday, Feb. 27th. There will NOT be a dental clinic Friday, Feb. 20th.

We recently celebrated 25 years of the Dental Clinic program at Shoals Community Clinic, with special honors to Dr. H. Gilman Griggs and Dr. Nicholas Pieroni. A reception and open house was held in their honor, and dental clinic rooms were dedicated to each with a plaque of recognition above the doors. We greatly appreciate the dedicated service these men and all of our volunteers have given over the years.
