Walking Wrap Party

The days are getting shorter and soon it will be dark when we go for a walk together. So it is time to wrap up the 2025 Walk Across Alabama challenge with our Walking Challenge Wrap Party.

Attached is an invitation to our annual Wrap Party. Matorious Ricks of the Alabama Extension Services will be presenting a Nutrition & Cooking Demonstration for us at the Lauderdale County Extension Offices. We will start the program at 4:00 pm, and begin with the Demonstration. This will be followed by the awards and presentations, so bring your Activity Log with your walking and activity times logged in. There will be certificates of completion for everyone registered for this year's event. The awards ceremony will be followed by a 1-mile group walk around the Coliseum (you may list that on your activity log as well).

We hope to kick off the 2026 walking program in February, so be looking for the schedule for next year.

We have had a great time as well as a great group this year. We look forward to getting out on the trail with everyone again soon. Hope to see you at the party!
