We had a great time at the 2025 Walk Across Alabama Kick Off. Many thanks to everyone from Que Fitness in Muscle Shoals who gave us a delightful dance party. Also, thanks goes out to the Tru Freedom Riders who are this year's new sponsor for the walking challenge. We are so grateful to have them on board. The Handy Recreation Center was a beautiful spot for our event, and offered us a good indoor walk while it was raining outside. Thank you Jason Graham, the Director of the Rec Center and your staff for being terrific hosts.

If you missed registering at the Kick Off event, you can always register at any of the group walks. See the attached schedule. You can also register at the Shoals Community Clinic anytime during business hours.

Another event sponsor, the YMCA of the Shoals, has once again graciously offered us their indoor walking trail on days when the weather is bad. They have also given us application forms for Financial Assistance for Y Membership. Those are in the Registration Packet. You can fill out the forms and return them to the Y. Many thanks to the YMCA of the Shoals for being a part of the program again this year.
