#GivingTuesday & End-of-Year Giving Campaign

Radical Generosity

While you can certainly give ANY day at ANY time, and we are most grateful ... each year there is a special day to recognize the efforts of the nonprofit agencies that improve the lives of everyone. Giving Tuesday is November 28th, and every act of giving can improve the lives of others in our community. The #GivingTuesday date also kicks off the End-of-Year Giving Campaign for Shoals Community Clinic. Your gift can help the clinic provide medical exams for those who cannot afford a regular primary care physician, tooth extractions for those in pain with bad teeth and infections, affordable medications, diagnostic laboratory services, screenings for breast and cervical cancer, tests for diabetes or heart disease, flu vaccinations, preventative health & education, healthy lifestyle programs, and more. Shoals Community Clinic is a designated 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and is a partner agency of United Way of Northwest Alabama. All gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Give now via electronic donation to our PayPal. (You do not have to have a PayPal account to do this.) You can also mail your donation via check to:

https://www.shoalscommunityclinic.com/donate Thank You for Supporting Access to Healthcare in the Shoals

We would like to thank everyone who generously provided support to the Shoals Community Clinic in 2023. The majority of funds that keep the clinic going are from local individuals, businesses, and groups. We especially appreciate the support from our partner agencies including: the Florence Housing Authority; NAMC; UNA Anderson College of Nursing & Health Professions; and United Way of Northwest Alabama. Support from people like you made it possible for approximately 1,000 area residents to receive medical and dental services that they would not have had access to otherwise. The Annual Community Health Fair provided screenings, health education, and experience for 67 individuals. The Well Woman Project provided cancer screenings to 27 women. The clinic’s Wellness programs provided nutritious food and exercise to over 250 households. Approximately 100 nursing students received valuable firsthand experience at the clinic to complete their academic and professional requirements. The Shoals Community Clinic is building a stronger community and workforce by providing access to healthcare for the uninsured of our area. Your support makes this possible, and we truly value and appreciate your help.
